While most language service companies (LSCs) prioritize providing their clients with a high-overhead full-service experience and tend to take for granted their relationships with their vendors, GC-LS instead prioritizes excellent relationships with vendors while striving to draw in and retain clients through a low-overhead self-service business model that offers more pricing options with greater transparency.
Unlike most LSCs, GC-LS does not seek a customizable long-term partnership with its clients but instead offers a convenient side option for clients looking for a way to reduce costs on simpler projects that don’t require a dedicated project management team.

GC-LS’s relationship with its clients is guided by the following criteria

“Know who you’re getting” means that clients know the target-language fluency level, education level, certification level, experience level, subject-area expertise, and other important details about the specific vendor they are selecting to work with their materials, giving clients flexibility regarding price depending on each project’s needs while managing client expectations as to project outcomes.

“Minimize the middle man” means that clients understand that GC-LS has significantly reduced the overhead that greatly drives up costs for most LSCs, thereby saving the client money on projects that don’t require a dedicated project management team.

“Self-service simplicity” means that the client minimizes as much as possible their back-and-forth communication with GC-LS.

Clients residing in the United States must pre-pay for services by credit card, bank transfer, or through a commercial financing option managed by a third party.

Clients with banking outside of the United States must pre-pay for services by credit card or through a commercial financing option managed by a third party, except when the total service fee exceeds $1,000, in which case pre-payment by electronic bank transfer is also allowable.

Clients who already have a committed partnership with another LSC should be encouraged to see GC-LS as a cost-effective side-option provider for simpler projects that don’t require a dedicated project management team.
